Kovalam Multi-Purpose Reef Video surfaces on Flickr!

Just a few days ago, George Mercier, member of the Kerala Legislative Assembly posted video and images of Kovalam Multi-Purpose Reef just following completion. Because ASR Multi-Purpose Reefs are innovative and unique public works projects, there is no telling when or where independent information will be released - a factor sure to keep any business on its toes.

Of course, we were excited to see a beautiful underwater video of Kovalam Multi-Purpose Reef that displays the geotextile container layout and a small school of fish enjoying themselves - wonder if they know it's artificial? Please note that because Kovalam Multi-Purpose Reef had only recently been completed, an abundance of marine life had not yet developed. Mr. Mercier's Flickr photostream is available here, and the Kovalam Multi-Purpose Reef set can be viewed by following this link. Many thanks to Mr. Mercier of posting this video and images.
