Google Instant and ASR - How Technology Affects our Business and Clients

I haven’t thought much about how Google Instant might affect ASR’s business. Since Google rolled out Instant Search, I’ve been grateful. But a more important search feature for my personal use has always been the time range in the additional search tools.

I’m certainly no SEO expert but I do understand the basic concepts and it’s safe to say that Google Instant Search will affect businesses, particularly those dependent on SEO, user behavior or click through. For a detailed discussion from individuals far more knowledgeable than myself, click here.

But I do think it is fair to say that Google Instant will have some impact on ASR, Boscombe Reef, and Kovalam Reef. But it’s difficult to know if it will make any significant difference in the long run.

It is interesting to note that when I type artificial surfing into the query box, artificial surfing reef was the first suggestion and ASR ltd is the first result! Strange when you consider the fact that the search term artificial surfing reef in not one of our meta tag keywords nor an area of our very basic SEO.

More likely Google Instant will play an important role for our clients. Why? Because of the way Google Instant delivers suggestions and search results when you type in Boscombe or Kovalam.

When I type in Boscombe, Boscombe Reef is the fourth suggestion, right behind Boscombe Valley Mystery. I’m not sure what Valley Mystery is but I’m going to pass and click on Boscombe Reef instead.

For Kovalam, the third suggestion is Kovalam Reef. Not bad. But again, it’s difficult to know how that really affects business in the long run and I’m not qualified to say.

Hopefully it will slowly draw more general attention to Multi-Purpose Reefs. But I do think it is fair to say that Google Instant will have some affect on ASR, Boscombe Reef, and Kovalam Reef and our clients.

ASR's Boscombe reef to hold the Sorted Surf Contest

Surf reef hosts comp

Boscombe reef to hold the Sorted Surf Contest

by WideWorld

10.02.2010

The artificial surf reef at Boscombe, near Bournemouth, will host its first surf championships in March.

The Sorted Surf Festival will run over the 20 and 21 March, and has invited pro surfers and bodyboarders from around the world to come and experience the artificial reef for themselves.

Boscombe reef was built from enormous sandbags, filled in situ on the seafloor and covering an area the size of a football pitch. It provides the area with regular surf almost every day of the year. Despite a troubled start - the opening was delayed due to construction issues with bad weather - it’s proved a massive hit for Southern surfers.

The festival is being organised by the Sorted Surf Shop on Boscombe seafront.  contest categories will consist of a Mens Open, Mens 35+, Ladies Open, and Juniors (under 18´s), and the contest will also host the first leg of the British Bodyboarding Annual Championships.

Bournemouth Watersports - All Water Based Activities and Sports in the Region!

ORIGINAL LINK

By David Copeland

To top off the selection, Bournemouth and Poole have the very finest and sunniest beaches in the land, ideal if you wish to try one of the Watersports listed above! Most of the activities are in the town and some are very close by. I am particularly interested in Kite surfing myself and see it as one of the very best sports to emerge in the last ten years. I would relish the time, opportunity and motive to have a go. So if you are looking for something to try while on holiday then this is one for you!

All of the training in the area is amongst the finest in the land and all the schools are run by qualified and extremely competent instructors to ensure your safety and rapid advancement. You can even go all the way up to hiring a luxury powerboat to cruise the beautiful seas and harbours in the area or if your budget does not stretch enough, you can enjoy one of the many cruises offered throughout the year. Anything related to water is available in the town and beyond as this is one of the most established seaside resorts in the whole of the land. The Watersports section here is second to none in the UK

According to the tourist management Board the Bournemouth and poole region is set to become the epicentre of the Uks Water based sporting centre and with the arrival of the new artificial surf reef near Boscombe pier it shows that the area is headed in the right direction. The tourist board has also said it will release information pertaining to tourism and encourage locals to partake in the new facilities available now!
